Issac and I went to the kids' parent teacher conferences this morning. They went very well! We started with Ikey - he basically has straight A's (they don't give letter grades in Kindergarten). He is proficient, exceeding the standard in all areas except one, which is reading a minimum of 20 words, although I think he does that. He's a little smarty! Next, it was on to Caleb. He is very smart and is above the standard in most areas, but he is having a hard time focusing and turning in his work. He definitely knows how to do his work, he just needs to focus. Issac and I aren't sure how to help him. He's an awesome kid, he's just forgetful! Please pray for us on how to help him. We want him to be able to do well - we know he can with some guidance! Finally, it was Courtney, who was our biggest disappointment. She got all F's... hahaha... totally kidding! She was the only one in her class (again) to get all A's and be on the A Honor Roll! She earned pizza with a friend and her teacher because of her accomplishment! She is doing very well in all areas and her teacher said it's a joy to have her. We are extrememly proud of our kids and we're so thankful God has given them the gift of "smarts" and the ability to do well in school. James 1:17 - Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

That's so great! At first I read Courtney is our "biggest disappointment" and I was like "OH MAN! So Sad! I don't think your supposed to write that kind of stuff", glad to see you were only joking. I got really sad for her for a second.
Haha.. Courtney is the smartest little kid! She's definitely NOT a disappointment to us!
