Afternoon Thunderstorms

Almost every afternoon we've been having thunderstorms. There's one going on right now as I type this. The lightning is close and the thunder is really loud. The other night, the thunder was literally shaking our house. It makes me think about how awesome God is. Rain is amazing in and of itself. How can clouds carry so much water to make it flood? Crazy. It makes me think of God's grace and His love for us. He sent us His rainbow promising to never flood the earth again like He did in Noah's time. He also loves the world so much that He sends us rain to water the ground. He cares for us and provides for us. His love and provision isn't limited to just believers. Matthew 5:45 says, "...for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust." I don't understand why people think there is no God. We are so undeserving of love like His. We hate Him, push Him out of schools, blame Him for all the bad things in the world, when He is the One who "makes His sun rise on the EVIL and the good, and sends rain on the just and on the UNJUST"!!! Being able to wake up and see the sun is given to us by God! I'm so thankful that I know the Creator of this world. He is AWESOME and I love Him!!
