Lego Indiana Jones

This is like, the funnest game ever! I love playing it! I've recently starting playing again after beating the Raiders of the Lost Arc level and now I beat the Temple of Doom level. I'm on The Last Crusade and it's getting pretty hard. The best thing about this game is how closely it follows the actual movies. It's pretty hillarious. The kids usually watch me play and it reminds me of how I used to watch my mom play Super Mario Brothers on the original Nintendo. She used to save the princess all the time. Now I get to show my kids how to play. Issac and I usually joke around when they play because they have a hard time doing everything - we say it's like watching a lame movie. haha!

Family Fun Time

Last night, after work, I took Courtney and Caleb out for a little bike ride. We went around our neighborhood on the bike paths and it was really fun! Caleb was really getting a workout - his face was red and he was breathing hard. There are some pretty big hills in our neighborhood, but both of them did really well. Unfortunately, Courtney got a flat tire towards the end of our ride. Hopefully, we can get it fixed.
When we got back, I took little Ikey up a little hill by our house so he could ride down. He had a lot of fun doing that. I think it's about time he got a bike. Right now he has a tricycle so it's hard for him to ride fast and go long distances. Maybe he'll get one for his birthday!
After our exercise, we came home to dinner on the grill! Issac made some hot dogs and brawts! Mmm, yummy. I'll be enjoying mine for lunch today!
I had a good time and hopefully we can do that more often!

It's cool because now they can play games and have fun while they
learn. What you see pictured above is Sponge Bob Square Pants
teaching Issac how to type. It was so funny; one of the games
involved typing in order to help "Patrick the starfish" get through
a maze. Patrick said "help me out buddy" and Issac was all "I'm
trying Patrick". He was so serious. I love my kids. They are too
cute.

A Fun Weekend

This weekend was really fun and also productive! Friday after work we hung out with the Burdwell's and ate dinner at Blue Corn. It was fun times spent talking about serving God! We love hanging out with them!
I spent Saturday morning relaxing by watching a movie (A Knight's Tale) in bed while Issac went and had some discipleship time with friends. After that, I got up and had lunch with the kids... yes, I relaxed all the way until lunch time.... and Issac went to help set up the church for a wedding. After some grub, the kids and I went into "clean house mode." Everyone had chores to do while I did laundry and cleaned my room and bathroom. It was a lot of hard work, but the rewards of having a clean house are awesome! While I was cleaning, Issac called from the church to inform me that he wouldn't be home for a while - he was asked to teach in the main sanctuary on Sunday for both services and had some studying to do! So, the kids and I cleaned some more and then I made some dinner. Issac arrived home just as I was finishing... perfect timing.
On Sunday, services went awesome! You can check out Issac's teaching at http://www.calvarysantafe.org/. After church, we went to Albuquerque to hang out with my brother for his birthday. He turned 23! Yikes! We enjoyed some Rudy's BBQ and just hung out and talked. It was fun! Next, it was on to the Bransford's house. We had a great time hanging out and talking with them in their awesome backyard! They're good friends that we love too!
I had a good time this weekend and hope weekends to come are that much fun! (and productive!)
