I took this picture on our way home. The lightning is going crazy right now and it's so close to our house. God's power is awesome!
We're having dinner with Ken and Krystal at Dion's. Good times.
Last night we went to the Scozzafava's house for Woody's birthday. We had frito pies and I ate so much that I felt sick. Bummer. Oh well, it was still fun times
Courtney and Caleb had a great first day of school! It started off a little rocky - the bus driver drove right past their bus stop from last year and didn't pick them up. Apparently, that stop isn't a stop anymore even though it's listed as one at their school. I called and complained. Anyway, Issac drove them to school a little late, but they found their classes and met their new teachers. They are happy with their teachers and like them so far. Courtney has a male teacher again and Caleb has a female again. Courtney and Caleb went back to school today. They were so excited!
It's really cool to see that they still love going to school. Pray for
them!
On Sunday evenings we go to the Village of Pena Blanca for a satellite bible study. I had the opportunity to hang with the kids outside at the playground. Fun times!
This is like, the funnest game ever! I love playing it! I've recently starting playing again after beating the Raiders of the Lost Arc level and now I beat the Temple of Doom level. I'm on The Last Crusade and it's getting pretty hard. The best thing about this game is how closely it follows the actual movies. It's pretty hillarious. The kids usually watch me play and it reminds me of how I used to watch my mom play Super Mario Brothers on the original Nintendo. She used to save the princess all the time. Now I get to show my kids how to play. Issac and I usually joke around when they play because they have a hard time doing everything - we say it's like watching a lame movie. haha! That's one bright rainbow to be able to see it on my lame cell phone camera. This was in Santa Fe when we were coming back from ABQ. Very cool.
So hardcore with Preston's gun. I hope this doesn't go to his head. Ha Ha.
Issac picked me up from work today with a little surprise in mind...chili's! For those of you blessed with this establishment in your town, you're lucky. We had to go all the way to Espanola to enjoy ours. Oh well, one of these days Santa Fe will join the rest of the world.
I know it's a couple days late, but Sunday was Issac's 32nd birthday! Yikes... he's getting old! Haha, just kidding. We were in Disneyland last week with Regenerate, so he got to do a little bit of celebrating at his favorite place on earth. When we got back into town, we went to dinner at Garduno's... amazing... and just relaxed at Drury Inn, without the kids! It was a much needed break. This summer we went to Disneyland for the youth group trip. We've been having a blast. Pictured above is us being hardcore down Splash Mountain.
